It is for those who have little or no knowledge in how music is really made and correctly appreciated (e.g. Freestyle makes their music sound heavier by smashing the cymbals almost endlessly which is a sign that they lack the skill to make the music sound really nice). If you try to listen and analyze MYMP and Nina's music closely, there's nothing really special--no outrageous adlibidums, no spicy chords, no difficult polyrhythms. Simply put, they don't have enough CREATIVITY and SKILLS to beat Dixie & Jazz artists such as Antonio Carlos Jobim and Ella Fitzgerald (Have you ever heard how these two artists perform?). And besides, I don't really understand why most Filipinos give credit to these newbies (MYMP, Nina and the likes) instead of the original artists. Definitely, MYMP and Nina are not the best in the world. Disagreeing means you risk making the most overstated thing in the face of the earth.
