we went to Padi’s point novaliches last night at yun na nga namataan namin yung mga malulupet na performers dun san ka nakakita ng vocalist na kumakanta ng patiwarik, gitaristang makulit, drummer na parang naglalaro lang… ang LUPET!!!

Eto ang routine ko araw araw:

Lunes: gising ng maaga, ligo, pasok sa office, uwi sa bahay.
Martes: gising ulit maaga, kain, ligo, pasok, uwi.
Miyerkoles - Biyernes: hindi ko na kailangang sabihin, palagay ko alam mo na
Sabado: (buti na lang naiba ng konti) gising ng maaga, kain, ligo, pasok, uwi ng 12:00 para magtanghalian sa bahay… 2:00 punta ng simbahan para magturo ng choir, minsan diretso na tambay hanggang hapunan, punta sa bahay ng tropa pagkatapos kumain.
Linggo: simbahan ang nagsisilbing tahanan ko (dati pala yun), ngayon- misa lang sa umaga tapos pahinga na. nun lang ako nakapagpahinga, kung minsan may meeting kung saan saan.

nakakasawa din pala…

namimiss ko yung panahon na wala pa akong trabaho at wala ring kahit anong obligasyon, matutulog ako ng 2:00am tapos bahala na kung anong oras magising. minsan inaabot ng 2:00pm at kung minsan sa bahay pa ng tropa.

ang sarap ng buhay ng nag-aaral nun, palamunin ka lang ng magulang mo, wala kang mashadong inaasikaso. Papasok ka lang sa school para makinig at magsulat ng konti… ok na (may kasama pang baon yun), di gaya ng panahon ngayon na ako na ang kailangang maghanap ng pera. sa susunod ako na ang magbibigay ng baon sa mga anak ko.

ang hirap ng buhay ng meron kang tungkulin na dapat gampanan, hindi mo na alam kung saan ilalagay ang sarili mo isabay mo pa ang trabaho, wala ng oras para makapaglibang, makapagstroll sa mall, makasama ang pamilya sa mga pasyalan, gusto ko ulit makita ang Manila Zoo, Nayong Pilipino, Fort Santiago … sa totoo lang, gusto ko talagang puntahan yun kasama ang pamilya ko, nung huli ko kasing napuntahan ang mga lugar na yun kasama ang pamilya ko ang tanging nasasabi ko lang eh “mama, papa, uu” (lolz) kelan kaya mangyayari yun ulit?

Masarap din naman ang buhay ng may trabaho, nabibili ang gusto, nasusunod ang luho. Shempre depende un sa sahod mahirap nga lang bumili ng gamit dahil alam mong pinaghirapan mo yung perang gagamitin mo pambili, kaya mas gusto mo yung sulit yung bibilhin mong gamit di gaya ng perang binigay ng nanay/tatay o ng sino pa man basta bigay na napakadaling gastusin dahil alam mong bigay lang. Hirap ng buhay… ngayon nararamdaman ko na rin ang epekto ng pagtaas ng presyo ng langis, pagtaas ng presyo ng mga bilihin (ako na lang yata hindi tumataas), pagbaba ng kalidad ng edukasyon. Marami sa mga estudyante ngayon ang mahina sa klase… ewan ko ba… nararamdaman ko na ang kahirapan… mag-abroad kaya ako? pero pano ko pupunta dun?

hmmmmmm… (wala na akong maisip… itutulog ko na lang ‘to) hehehe

bata: “Kuya pasabit!!! Jollibee lang!!!”

- sinakay ng bata yung kanyang kapatid… punas dito punas doon… halos lahat yata ng paa pinunasan ng basahan na hindi ko alam kung saan nanggaling… mas madumi pa kasi ang kulay sa suot nyang damit… nakakaawa yung magkapatid… gusto kong tulungan pero sakto lang ang pamasahe ko nun… wala akong magawa kundi maawa… sleepy pa rin ako nun…

driver: “Oist!!! baba na! baba! di pwede ang bata d2!!!”

bata: “sasabit lang eh! damot neto oh!”

driver: “hindi nga pwede! ipahuhuli kita sa pulis!!!”

bata: “angas mo ah! put@#% i@# mo!!!”

- ayun na!!! bigla akong nagising…

driver: “abah putaragis kang bata ka!!! hindi ka ba bababa jan?”

- bumaba yung bata… kasama yung kapatid nya na pasan pasan sa likod.

bata: “Pakyu! eto sa’yo uhmmm!”

- kunwari bababa yung driver…

bata: “Sige ano?!? ha?!? put#$% i*% mo! lalaban ka ba?!? ano?!? sapakan na lang oh!!!” sabay takbo palayo yung bata… siguro mga 10 years young lang yun…

tapos yun na… pumikit na lang ako… napaisip ng konti…

nakakaawa yung mga bata… pero wala akong nagawa… nakakapanghinayang ang mga batang nasa lansangan… Hindi ko lubos maisip na mayroong mga magulang na pinapabayaan ang kanilang mga anak na mamalimos, mangholdap, mang-snatch, matulog sa kalsada, mag drugs at sumali sa kung anu-anong mga grupo na wala namang ginawa kundi manggulo…

dahil ba ito sa kahirapan? kakulangan sa kaalaman? o dahil na rin sa katigasan ng ulo natin? ano sa palagay mo? ako??? ewan ko… wala rin akong sagot… basta hindi ko hahayaan na maging ganun ang magiging anak ko…

at iiwasan ko ng umidlip sa byahe sa susunod… magastos… doble pamasahe…
